Kaun yaha aaya tha, kaun diya jala gya. Soone mere aangan mei kirane yu phela gya Dil ki dehleez paar kar Baahon ke darwaze khol kar Mishri ka tukda ghol kar Mujkho yu pighla gya Kaun yaha aaya tha, kaun sama mehka gya. Dil ke daaman ko thame, mera woh.mera ho gya. English Translation Who was it that came my way? Who was it that made the darkness fade away? dispelling the loneliness in my life with light and love He took his place in my heart and his memories are there to this day My life was filled with immeasurable sweetness and a joy that still melts my heart away Who was it that came my way? Made the seasons nicer, and better each day My heart became his, and he became mine forever He took his place in my heart and his memories are there to this day My life was filled with immeasurable sweetness and a joy that still melts my heart away

Lyrics (by Nandita Bhasker and Vaibhav Nangia) : Aatey agar tum yahan par, mere, sune saaz saj jaate Tanhayi mein jo, sur thamey hain, sari fizaa mehkaate Ataey agar tum yahan par, mere, sune saaz saj jaate Little drops of sunshine in my way, come hurtling down from above, each day Up above, from the misty sky These drops remind me that I’m still alive In a musical bag, so fine In a musical bag, all mine Such an ironic sunny day Mehki-mehki saason se bhara, yeh sama hai Jaanti hain yeh wadiyan, tu yahin kahin hai Tu yahin kahin hai Dream another dream As the night passes you by Under the sun, you will fight Fight, just to keep them alive Little flecks of gold floating around Flying faster than the speed of sound

about

We (read: Abhishek, Kshitij and Vaibhav) were always a rock band that enjoyed playing a lot of other things. After all, our world is rich with a lot of music, and its always nice to go out there and discover something that we are unfamiliar with. That's how our rock band discovered Indian semi-classical music (read: Anumeha Bhasker) (well, we are from India, so it wasn't a surprise!)

"Paper Smiles" was our first experiment that fused alternative rock music with classical vocals and percussion. We made this song a few years back, and we never imagined that an album fully-loaded with such mergers was on its way! Perhaps the inspiration that came with one song remained with us as we studied abroad, and being 'A Long Way From Home' was just another reason to explore our musical roots.

"November burst" is a love song. It is about allowing yourself to fall in love with something that is beautiful, but unknown.

"Ud Le" is about seizing the opportunity you are given, to create something that is truly spectacular and memorable. A lot of this song was inspired from our memories of organising and performing at PECFEST.

"Song For A Sunny Day" is for those who has fallen in and out of love, come close and then found themselves pushed further apart.

Now we have decided to take you along our journey through the years, one song at a time. The first three songs are now available for download, and more are on their way!
